Through this course, participants will gain a thorough knowledge of medical terminology, the complete cycle of multi-scenario medical billing, the importance of diagnostic coding and its impact on provider revenue, coding of services, procedures, medical devices, and medications, and the limitations and rules that must apply. They will also learn about the use of electronic records and their interoperability between patient healthcare providers and insurance companies. In addition, we will discuss the importance of applying federal and state laws to conduct a good internal audit for optimal work and revenue flow.
