COSTCO is hiring pharmacists: $78.72 to $83.18 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in medical terminology and critical care, as well as experience in acute care. As a pharmacist, you will play an important role in ensuring patients use medications safely and effectively, providing excellent patient services, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications while providing clear instructions to patients. Monitor patient medications for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions. Perform medication utilization reviews to promote safe prescribing practices. Maintain accurate inventory of medications to ensure compliance. Provide clinical support in critical care areas such as the ICU and ER and assist with acute pain management strategies. Educate patients and healthcare staff regarding medications and potential side effects. Participate in a pharmacy residency program or training program for enhanced professional development.

Experience

A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. Completion of a pharmacy residency is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in an acute care setting such as the ICU or ER is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with critical care protocols is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

$78.72 - $83.18 per hour
